Sweetening the bitterness of Lyme
Take a moment to support this brave Lyme Warrior in her effort to share her story and spread awareness. How many times will patients have to endure the words "it's all in your head" before the medical community learns to test for Lyme in addition to testing for other possible causes of symptoms? So much precious time is lost in the process of advocating for yourself or for your child. Those suffering from Lyme Disease need to know they are not alone in the battle. Not today, not tomorrow. Not ever. We carry each other's burdens when we watch and like, comment, or subscribe and share. Let's do that for Ari today.

Partner in Lyme
Was founded in January 2020 in response to my teenage daughter's battle with Lyme Disease.
Treatment is expensive and while everyone automatically thinks of herbs and antibiotics, many people don't think of all the "extras" this disease requires.
Tired of hearing, "If I only had an extra $1000, I could get a juicer, or an essential oil kit, or a home sauna, or a wheelchair", I set out to give residents of Connecticut that extra $1000.
We know $1000 is not enough to treat Lyme Disease comprehensively, but we hope it helps to "sweeten the bitterness of Lyme"!

Carrying the Burden of Lyme
The average Lyme patient can expect to pay $20,000-$50,000 out of pocket yearly to treat Chronic, or Late Stage Lyme Disease. Most diseases are covered by insurance and allow for a customizable treatment plan that fits the patient, but not Lyme Disease. Insurance companies cover 2 weeks of antibiotics and then the patient is on their own to cover the costs for doctor visits, herbs, supplements & antibiotics, holistic treatments, therapies and more.
Partner in Lyme seeks to sweeten the bitterness of Lyme by helping to carry the financial burden with a $1000 gift. 100% of donations are given to our Awardees. When you partner with us, you help carry someone's financial burden. When you apply with us, our hope is that you find a community that cares and supports you in your journey to health.
Our newest tee shirt design is available for donations of $25+ (please add $5 for shipping if outside of Fairfield County, CT). Once again we are offering a Comfort Colors tee in sizes: S-XL and once again when they are gone, they are gone!
