Ari's Story

How many times will patients have to endure the words "it's all in your head" before the medical community learns to test for Lyme in addition to testing for other possible causes of symptoms? So much precious time is lost in the process of advocating for yourself or for your child. Those suffering from Lyme Disease need to know they are not alone in the battle. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. We carry each other's burdens when choose to engage in helping someone heal from this devastating disease.

Partner in Lyme

Parter in Lyme was founded in January 2020 in response to my teenage daughter's ongoing battle with Lyme Disease.

Many people don't realize that insurance does not cover Lyme Disease treatment.  Treatment is expensive and requires many extras in order to move closer to healing.

Tired of hearing, "If I only had an extra $1000, I could get a juicer, or an essential oil kit, or a home sauna, or a wheelchair", I set out to give residents of Connecticut that extra $1000.

We know $1000 is not enough to treat Lyme Disease comprehensively, however, we hope it helps to know that you are not alone in the fight.  Partner in Lyme helps to  carry your burden.

Carrying the Burden of Lyme

The average Lyme patient can expect to pay $20,000-$50,000 out of pocket yearly to treat Chronic, or Late Stage Lyme Disease.  Most diseases are covered by insurance and allow for a customizable treatment plan that fits the patient, but not Lyme Disease.  Insurance companies cover 2 weeks of antibiotics and then the patient is on their own to cover the costs for doctor visits, herbs, supplements & antibiotics, holistic treatments, therapies and more.

Partner in Lyme seeks to help carry the financial burden of Lyme Disease with a $1000 gift.  100% of donations are given to our Awardees.  When you partner with us, you help carry someone's financial burden.  When you apply with us, our hope is that you find a community that cares and supports you in your journey to health. We pledge to be here for you long after the check is cashed and the money spent.
